October 2015 BarkBox Review

The countdown to Howloween begins and we’ve got a spooktacular BarkBox to share with you!  While Count Barkula and zombies may not have been seen lurking in our box, we did get some quirky bats and pumpkin treats. The truth about subscription boxes is simple, you never know what you might get until you open your box.  Sometimes,  you get great things that you love and sometimes, you get a box of things you didn’t really like but that’s the beauty of subscription boxes. Our September BarkBox was a bit of a bust but we’re so pleased with our October BarkBox! Not only was it filled to the rim with amazing treats and toys, there was a BarkMade toy (and you guys know how much we love the BarkMade toys).

Here are our top 3 picks:

1. BarkMade Rattling Ricky — With crinkling wings and a water bottle body, this toy has been on constant rotation for Remix and he can’t get enough of the rattling sound. Trust me, I’ve woken up at 5 AM to rattling sounds but he’s a happy pup so I won’t complain.
2. Dynamite Giggle Stick — This rubber toy makes a giggling sound when it’s shaken and it has made tug-o-war a bit more humorous. Remix also loves bouncing it around just to hear the giggling sound.
3. Fruitable Skinny Minis Pumpkin Spice Flavour Treats — We’re huge fans of Fruitable Skinny Mini chewy treats because they’re small and great for training. We usually get the pumpkin mango flavour but we received an exclusive pumpkin spice flavour that I’m sure Remix will be jumping all over. These mini treats are like gummies for dogs with less calories.
