Happiness Boutique Review

During the past week, the weather in Toronto has taken a drastic turn for the cold. With frigid winds blowing and rain falling on the odd day, we can already feel the coolness of the coming seasons. I’m not sure if the El Nino winds will kick in for us but given our recent weather, it seems Farmer’s Almanac’s prediction for a cold winter might be true. Winter thoughts aside, we are currently channeling our inner frost queen with this Bold Clear Crystals Statement Necklace from Happiness Boutique!

This is our second Happiness Boutique review (you can read the first here) and we certainly hope it won’t be our last! Both statement necklaces have always warranted me many compliments and I always find myself reaching for either piece whenever I feel like I need some extra sparkle.  What I like about this one in particular is the intricacy of the design but also the versatility of wearing it. On this particular day I paired the necklace with a Wilfred collared shirt but I also love how it looks with a basic t and utility jacket. The necklace can also feel quite heavy if you’re not used to wearing something so large! I think the only downfall of this necklace is the delicate nature of the crystals which can fall off if you’re not too careful — but nothing you can’t fix on your own. Overall we love it’s flexibility, design and can’t wait to pair it with some of our favourite knits for Autumn!
