Call for 2017 Purina Better Together Award Submissions

Hello from the middle of June!

As we wind down and count down until summer, it’s time for us to share with you an amazing opportunity. If you have a pet or know a pet that has made an enormous impact on your life or the life of someone you know, we’d like you to submit their story for the opportunity to be recognized as next year’s Better Together Award winner! Voting begins in the Fall and the winner will be recognized at the Purina Animal Hall of Fame in 2017.

Background

Since it’s inception in 1968, the Purina Animal Hall of Fame has honoured pets and service animals for their remarkable feats of bravery – from alerting humans to life-threatening medical emergencies, to saving them from extremely perilous conditions. In the last 48 years, 172 animals have been inducted, including 144 dogs, 27 cats – and even a horse.

This year’s #BetterTogetherAward recognized 4 pooches for the actions they took to save a human’s life. These #PetHeroes have proved that they will do what it takes in order to protect the people they care about more. Watch their stories below.
